NPX couplings are a failsafe male/female coupling solution. A key advantage of the NPX arrangement is the availability of a two-part male hub. This hub can be dis-assembled, allowing the elastic elements to be replaced without having to move the shafts or lose the couplings positioning on the shaft. As the elements are enclosed and therefore not visible without dismantling the coupling. The NPX range of couplings can compensate for shaft misalignment while also offering vibrational dampening. They are available to suit shaft sizes up to 100mm, with maximum torque ratings ranging from 57Nm up to 8400Nm and a maximum speed of 5000 rev/min. Hubs will be supplied with a pilot bore (finished machined upon request) or with a taper bore to suit our range of taper bushes.
